# Random scroll

Random scroll is the action of instructing the browser to scroll the screen up or down at a completely random distance and speed. This action does not have any accompanying configuration parameters.

#### Real-world example: Simulating reading behavior like a real user (Account nurturing)

This action is an extremely important "weapon" in account nurturing scenarios (Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter...). If an account immediately starts clicking continuously or spamming keys at high speed as soon as it opens, the AI systems of social networks will immediately flag it as a Bot and lock the account.

* How to apply: After using the Go to URL action to access the homepage or a detailed post, you insert the Random scroll action interspersed with short Delay commands.
* Result: The browser will scroll up and down, pause to view, and then scroll again spontaneously. This completely deceives behavior scanning algorithms, making your Profile look like a real user reading news, maximizing the trust level for your MMO account.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.gpmautomate.com/automate-en/action-guides/scroll/random-scroll.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
